Default Stepping back for a while

I have just moved to Colorado Springs. What a difference from So Cal. I like it!

The move was due to my new job, which is similar to what I did in Temecula. I will be developing new medical devices and techniques dealing with the treatment of in-stent restenosis with excimer laser coronary angioplasty. I need to focus my attention on that, which means I need to step back from building for a while.

This will no less than one year. I love building too much to completely stop. What Saville Guitars will look like in the future is undecided.

Thank you all for the kindness and support over the past several years. My first build was started over eight years ago and since then I have completed 27 guitars. I still play my first guitar almost daily. It was completed due to the incredible support of builders on this great forum.

If you are near Colorado Springs, contact me via email or PM and lets get together and make some music!

I was thinking... how sad to be out of building for so long... then I remembered I took 2 1/2 years off to get Voyage Air off the ground. It's even more fun the next time!!!

Best wishes, Steve, for a smooth transition, and for finding your way back to building as part of your vocation. I continue to be very grateful for the Peace Guitar you brought into the world that continues to bring me Peace.

Good luck to you Steve. Your new work appears to hold out great potential for you. I'm sure you will get back to building guitars one of these days. In the meantime, I wish you well in your new job and endeavor. Living in Colorado would be very nice for sure!

It's great to hear that you're settled in! I tell you, if I ever had to leave Southern California, I hope it would be Colorado! I stayed in Colorado Springs for a couple of weeks in a van once while attending the Barnett Bicycle Institute Technician course. What a beautiful place! Congratulations on your move and I hope you can get back to building soon!

Hi Steve…
I'm officially retired now and my Aunt lives in Colorado Springs. Been thinking of coming down to see her.

If I get a time arranged, I'll contact you and see if we can connect.

All the best in Colorado, Steve!

It was disappointing for me when I was unable to make it to the music gathering at your house in SoCal a year or so ago... maybe we'll meet up in Colorado sometime!

Keep sending out that deliberate vibration! (Play on)............................>

Congratulations on the official retirement! I hear that it can be busier than working.
It would be great to meet face to face.

Good luck, Steve. I guess this means no more great AGF gatherings in Temecula. I truly enjoyed the one I was able to attend.
