Wow Presonus Studio One Recording Software?
I've been running the demo of Presonus Studio One and it runs a dream on one of my elderly PCs. I've used Sonar and Cubase but i think Presonus have hit the nail on the head with this one. I was up and recording in 10 minutes. the layout is very uncluttererd and very, very simple to use, the drag and drop works great and it seems as if it has a great audio engine as Sonar and Cubase won't run on this old machine.
I have to say i'm amazed, anyone using Studio One yet? Worth downloading the demo to give it a try..... http://www.presonus.com/products/Sof...?SoftwareId=11 Rob http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ODh9_ab8pc Last edited by RobKay; 06-09-2010 at 01:02 PM. |

As a Sonar user, I am extremely impressed with Presonus' Studio One (used it on my last release). So much so, I'm making it my go to DAW software. Studio One Pro is available in the month of June for $149 as an upgrade to "Artist."
Pro is worth the upgrade in my opinion and is necessary to use any VST plugins.

Will this software work with the Presonus Firestudio project?

As a now recording 'artist' I switched from very unsatisfactory FL Studio to Cockos Reaper. This was a huge improvement on recording aspects and audio editing on-the-fly with even a hotkey for opening a recording in an external application (I use Audition 3.0 for de-clicking).
I will check this one out for sure! Thanks. |

Cool. I have not used the Presonus Software yet, Ill prob check it out eventually, as I want to get the presonus mobile pre.
I like Reaper alot, especially now that they have a full version for Mac. I would like it even better if they had a system to manage your takes and edits, like Pro Tools or Logic. Anton
