NGD (new to me)
Picked up my first electric guitar from the classifieds. I've been playing for less than a year on an acoustic and wanted to give electric a try. It's a Fender Modern Player Telecaster. Also picked up a Vox VT15 amp and a hard case as part of the deal. I think I did ok for $375.
It was super gross - but after some polish and a new set of strings - it cleaned up pretty nicely.

I had that same model. Great, versatile guitar. I upgraded the stock tuners to Klusons and set mine up with 12s with a wound g. I just couldn't get with the maple fretboard, so I traded mine off. Nice guitar though. Enjoy.
At one point, GC was retailing those at $399 and had a sale price of $319.99, but now they go for $499. With the the amp and HSC you did good.
