Default NGD - Martin D-41 Sunburst

I have not done this in - oh maybe six months anyway. As usuall started by criusing the website of my favorite guitar crack dealer. Saw this amazing looking 2002 Martin D-41 with a sunburst top - wow. Grabbed some guitars to trade and roared out there.

Needless to say I fell in love with this guitar. My dealer has been in the game for many years, and tells me he has never seen a sunburst D-41. Maybe someone else out there has one. It has beautiful MOP trim around the outside and MOP band around the sounhole, with the largeer fret markers.

Of course it has killer Martin tone and volume. Had to sell my soul for this one (i.e. traded 2 guitars for one) - but it's a doozy I think. Yes, I will post pics as soon as I load new camera software. Been meaning to get to that for a while now.

Happy day my guitar friends. Happy day.

Congrats! Can't wait to see pics. I used to hate suburst finishes and now they are all I can think about.

Oh man! I think it's practically illegal around here to start a NGD thread without pix available!! Love to see it. I've been a D41 fan for awhile but never seen a sunburst. Cool!

NGD faux pas - no pics. It's a great excuse to install that new software. Get to it.

Oh, Congrats on the guitar!

Ain't nothing wrong with that guitar. If she sounds nearly as good as she looks you have a treasure. Bee-you-dee-ful!

Thats one good looking Martin, although it does not remind me a bit of an Advanced Jumbo.
