Here's A Funny Thing
Once you become aware of an actor/actress, you start to notice them in movies made long before you noticed them.
Had one of the Star Wars on this afternoon, and in the final scene, when Obi Wan hands the future Luke Skywalker off to his foster parents, his dad, who has no lines at all, turns out to be Australian actor Joel Egerton who has been in a ton of recent movies. |

Like this guy from the 1959 Walt Disney movie 'Darby O'Gill And The Little People'.

The sign of a good actor/actress is when you see them in a handful of films without realising it's the same person.
Toni Collette comes to mind. |

I know what you mean. There's an actress, whose name I don't know, that I have now seen in at least 6 TV commercials, all for different products. She plays the wife, the mother, the work colleague, the neighbor, the person with a bad cold, etc. It's amazing - she seems to fit every demographic.
