Default I played one today

I was at Guitar Center today playing a bunch. I usually try a J-15, because I like them, or at least some of them, but they are pretty close to my Martin OOO 15 and my Larrivee 00 3 Walnut. They had a very nice J-15 on sale (2017 model) for around $1100, a very good price. The Gibson rep happened to be there and he handed me an HP Walnut cutaway that was on sale for $1100. It's close to the J 15, but a cutaway and slightly less deep (4" vs. 4.25"), but it played great. I am trying not to buy it, but I wound up with a $250 GC gift certificate (which is the worst amount of money, too big to spend on strings, but not big enough to buy a guitar I want!), so I may just have to use that. That would get me the Gibson for around $900 after tax--a phenomenal deal for that guitar. O crap, I just talked myself into it!

If that gift certificate is causing you mental stress, you could always rid yourself of that burden and just send it my way.... I think I'd do that deal for the HP Walnut......
