Beautiful sounds from that guitar and that man. Wonderful job.

Glenn you're a fine-lookin' man for pretty much any age. Rock on!

I hope there's nothing wrong with saying that.

Hi Steven!

Well, thank you very much for the kind words and the compliment, Steven. Nothing wrong with saying that I look okay for nearly 70 years old. Thank you! And I am glad you enjoyed the song! I do very much appreciate your taking the time to provide feedback and encouragement!

Hey Glenn, A little late to this one but just as I expected another great performance!
As an aside the second part of the song is one of (or maybe the first) bits of finger style playing that I ever learned. But when I learned it I had never even heard the song. I think my teacher saw it as kind of an exercise for double stops.
Any, like I said super job, it was a good listen.

Very nice. The OMPW is the rosewood yes? Sounds terrific with your voice.

As usual, Glenn, a great job. I do this tune and always join it (as in my own Youtube video) with 59th Street Bridge Song. I think S&G paired the two in their Central Park concert and I like the emotional contrast.

Hi John,

Yes, the "Bookends" part of the song is a real exercise in double stops and you can see that in the camera view showing my right plucking hand.

Thanks very much for your comments, your kind words, and for watching! Much appreciated!

Hi Skim,

Yes, the OM/PW is Sitka spruce top over East Indian Rosewood back and sides. This guitar really does have a nice sound, a little more bass compared to most OM guitars, but it also has a decent upper end sparkle to it. And I love the looks of this guitar with the herringbone trim.

Thanks for watching and thanks for the kind words -- I'm so glad you felt that this came out okay!

Hi IPA53,

Oh how cool that you also do this song! And pairing it with the 59th Bridge Song ("Feeling Groovy") sounds like a great idea! There would definitely be an emotional contrast between songs with that combination!

Thanks for commenting here and for the kind words. Glad you like this!

Just tuned into this one, Glenn. Oddly, this is one that sort of escaped me when it was new...not sure why.

Well played and sung. You captured the spirit of what I think PS was trying to convey. And, the OMPW does sound wonderful.

Hey Glenn, that's beautiful... and you will be a VERY young 70! Very nicely played... a lovely tune. Your version is better than Paul's and his was pretty good. Well done, as always.

OM/PW sounds great!
