Default 52 Weeks of Blues

http://www.52weeksofblues.com/

I stumbled on to this website. It's full of information; 69 blues songs with lyrics, chords and tabs. It even has a bio on the person who did the song.

Also a great project; the website author learned 52 songs in 52 weeks. If it was me, it would have been more like 5 songs in 52 weeks!

Excellent site. I have been trying to learn blues songs lately, and this is a gem site for that.

Thank you for sharing.

Wow, this really fits me right now! I've been drowning in Keb Mo and others for awhile while I haphazardly try to learn some blues (new years resolution). This is perfect timing!

Thanks!

I really like the site feature allowing me listening to the music, and also letting me see the lyrics and tabs all at the same time. It's unique and useful.

It takes about 3-4 weeks for me to learn one blues song.
So maybe I could learn about 12 songs in 52 weeks, if I practiced about an hour a day everyday .

Great site! I'm pretty worthless with tabs but knowing the chords and being able to listen to the recordings should get me through a couple of nice tunes in some fashion or other.

Van Ronk's Sunday Street Blues is the first I'll try. Of course, I won't wind up playing it like he did but hopefully it'll be close enough to be recognizable. Also since I don't sing, I'll need to learn the solos and flesh out some other stuff to go between them where he would have been singing. A challenge. Should be interesting. No way I'll get through it in one week.

Are these all songs with vocals? When I sing birds drop out of the air.....
