Default John Prine's book

I ordered a copy of "Beyond Words" and it's quite a nice music book. Lots of good notes and photos of his career and life, plus songs and chords for many of his songs. Definitely worth checking out if you are a Prine fan!

John Prine was a guest on Chris Thile's Live From Here NPR radio show in New Orleans. I was fortunate to be in audience and thoroughly enjoyed the program. You can catch it again at

Prine does 4 songs at least 2 of which are new songs to come out on a new record he said would be released in spring 2018. Def worth a listen

Yep...I bought it a while back. Fun book! And one of the two most used books in my music room.

Great combo!

I'd guess mine would be Prine and my Gordon Lightfoot book.

Yes, I saw the book and it looks cool. I'm a huge Steve Goodman fan. Are there many photos or stories about JP's friendship with Steve?

I also just saw on his site a mention of the new album. Very cool he is still out there working and writing. A true American icon and original. Love the man.
