Default Mcpherson 4.5 XP Adirondack/Indian Rosewood

Selling gorgeous Mcpherson! This was a custom order that I had made in 2011, and I just don't play enough anymore and can't stand to see it sitting there so i'm letting it go.

it's Adirondack Red Spruce / East Indian Rosewood, with the headstock in East Indian Rosewood as well, cutaway, with mcpherson's custom LR Baggs electronics. Comes with the Ameritage case, all accessories (saddles, etc) and is in mint condition as far as i can tell with the exception of one tiny nick in the finish (attached picture although its hard to see it).

The thing looks and sounds like a dream! Priced at 8k + shipping

I dont want to break any rules on talking about price but i understand McPherson just had a big price increase on new guitars so if you are looking now might be the time to buy before the used market goes way up..sorry if I broke the rules and heck of a nice guitar.

LOL the sad fact is I'm just not playing much in general, that's why i felt I should let it go. I've got a couple other guitars, but bought a composite acoustics legacy a little while ago just to kick around since I was gonna sell this mcpherson. still thinking about getting another guitar, but i can't justify having this sit in my house anymore. it was my once in a lifetime dream guitar, but times change so I'm letting it go

I have a prototype legacy -circa 2001- Just broke her out of non-rotation and started playing her again. CA had such potential; shame they were bought out. How long have you had your legacy?

I’ve wanted a McPherson for so many years... but for now, a bucket lists item it’ll have to remain.

Anyway, best wishes with the sale!!! She’s a beauty!

Interesting... Did you buy it new or is it an older one?

If I remember correctly, the newest ones are completely carbon fiber, fretboard and all. I have an old fishman eq in mine and ebony fretboard and bridge.
