Appalachian Trail performance GS mini
Hiked up to a shelter on the Appalachian Trail in Vermont with my GS mini recently and played the tune "Knew It Was Her" from my most recent album.

Standard with a twist
Standard tuning, shortcut capo 2nd fret, stings 3 -5 ( makes it EBEABE). Approximates DADGAD up 1 step with all strings open, but fingerings are different and you can play both sides of the capo on strings #6, #2, & #1.
BUT you can also play standard tuning shapes, provided that all strings are fretted. Some standard tuning shapes work regardless but with some different voicings or altered structure. An easy way to change apparent tunings yet stay in standard, if that makes any sense.
