Default Martin baritone ukulele production dates?

I have one for sale in the classified and I have been asked about what year it was made. It is my understanding that they never had serial numbers and were made in the 1960’s. Anyone have any other info? Thanks!

From the Martin Ukulele book by Tom Walsh and John King in the Appendix they show Baritones made from 1960 to 64, none in 65--66 to 73, none in 74--small numbers 75 through 92 with none is several years.

There are a few photos in the book from different times of production.
Some years several hundred (1962-775-a high point) Some years just a few( 1982 just 3) After 71 no more than 76 made in any year and most of the time much less. The became special order in the late 1970's.

No serial numbers given in the book.

I'd ask over on the Ukulele Underground for additional information.

Looking at your photos with comparisons in the book all I can say is "yep, its a 1960's baritone" Not much help. Looks to be in most excellent condition.
