Beautiful instrument.
A luthier friend of mine played one of these Goodall parlors in Koa/Spruce years ago at TME and says it was one of the best small body guitars he has ever encountered. Judging by the endpin it looks to have a pickup installed ? My only experience with Koa/Spruce was with a Martin HD-28KM - a guitar from the same time period that I should have kept. Best of luck with the sale from another downsizer.

Goodall 12 Fret Parlour
Really, really interested in this little guitar - especially as all I seem to play these days is Slack Key influenced pieces. I'm wondering how the guitar handles lower open tunings. I see the scale is in between the 2 standards and wonder how that translates to string tension.
Do you have available sound samples? If you wanted, I could possibly send you some FB posts of my attempts in the Slack Key realm and that might give you an idea of the suitability of the guitar for that particular usage. Thanks very much for you time.

Hi WMM. As you may imagine, this is a fine instrument. As to its suitability for Slack Key tuning I cannot say as I, at most, play in drop D tuning. I will try to do some research on this and may I suggest that you contact James Goodall directly for more insight on this issue. He is quite approachable and friendly and has always been very accommodating to me over my years of owning several of his guitars, all of which are\were amazing.
