Default Emerald on Facebook...

First, some disclaimers:
I am not big on "sharing" things on Facebook.
I have no connection with Emerald, other than being on their list for a Road Trip - I have never seen an Emerald in person.
I like wood guitars; and I like carbon fiber guitars - I just like guitars.
As mentioned above, I have never seen an Emerald in person, but I haven't been particularly taken with their "woodies." Until this...

An X20 with a cocobolo veneer on the soundboard. When I saw this photo on my Facebook newsfeed, I actually said, "Oh, my!" out loud. My wife came over to see what I was looking at... "That sure is pretty."

She didn't know she was looking at a carbon fiber guitar.

I am not in the market for another full size guitar. BUT, if this looks as good in person as it does in the photo...

If this in any way is a problem with the mods or Emerald, I will take this down. But, it is too pretty to not share.

Captain,

I had an Emerald X20 woody for awhile, and can attest that they look even better in person than they do in the pictures. The craftsmanship involved in the seamless woody veneer is incredible.

I reluctantly sold the X20 woody (which was 25.5 inch scale) and reallocated the funds into a new X20 Opus (Amber color) with a custom 24.75 inch scale).
