Default Incoming Julian Gaffney OMC Swiss Moon Spruce/Madagascar RW: Fine Luthiers

Julian Gaffney is almost finishing up the first guitar for Fine Luthiers. What a exciting news!

Gaffney OM was created with special curvature added into 1930's Martin OM body and his modern voicing. For this build Julian chose Swiss Moon Spruce and Madagascar RW plus amboyna burl for the segmented rosette. He also did a very subtle neck inlay starting from neck heel. At his new workshop in NYC, Julian does the finish by himself! So hard to wait for this one!

That's a stunner. I spent a bit of time with Julian when he was wrapping up his apprenticeship with Ervin, including playing some of his guitars, so this should be a nice addition to your shop!
