Two guitars Pros and Cons in your opinion
Hi guys! I'd like opinions about these two guitars, which would be a better choice in your opinion. One us the Yamaha C40 and the other a Brazilian guitar called Rozini model studio nylon.
As a Brazilian guitar, I'm afraid not all the names of wood could be translated from Portuguese to English. Here we go: Rozini Studio Guitar Studio (Nylon) Neck: Cedar (dual action truss rod) Scale: Roxinho (?) Sides and back: Ironwood (NATURAL) and Black-Blade or Ipê (MATTE) Top: Spruce (solid) Frets: Alpaca (my guess here is nickel Strings: Nylon (EJ44 D Addario) Finish: Gloss or Satin Total instrument length: 1000mm Nut width: 47mm There are 3 points I liked about the Rozini, the narrower nut (for a nylon guitar), the truss rod and the solid top Yamaha C40: String Type Nylon Body Shape Classical Body StylebNo Cutaway Finish Gloss Top Wood Spruce Back & Sides Wood Meranti Neck Wood Nato Neck Shape Classical Fingerboard Material Rosewood Scale Length 25.56" Nut Width 2" Body Depth 3.31" Strings Savarez D'angelico Light Tension I've heard so many nice things about Yamaha, though it's a laminated top and it doesn't have rod, I have the impression it's a more reliable guitar. So, what do you guys think? Thanks |
