Default Final bits of equipment for our next album

I’ve ordered two “final” pieces of equipment and I’m looking forward to playing around with them.

The first is a Shure SM7B and a Cloudlifter that I’m hoping to use for lead vocals, male background vocals and the back side of the cajon.

The second is an Audient iD14. I was having some small intermittent crackling sounds on my Apogee One and I think it’s because the dongles are a weak piece of engineering. Plus the Audient has two channels and I’ll be able to capture both the front and back of the cajon at once.

I’ll continue to use the Miktek PM5 for female background vocals, all strings, and the front side of the cajon.

As the layers are assembled I’ll post them for comments.

Peace,
Buzzard Whiskey
