Why don’t you make the Play Acoustic run on Battery Power?

I haven’t looked into running everything off battery power. I’m not sure what that would entail or how large a battery pack is needed, etc. All the other cables still have to connect from the Play, get power to the other boxes and run through to the Amp. I’m not sure how battery power would simplify the mess for me. I can run the LED light on the music stand by battery, which might make sense since it also takes AAA.

I’m running everything now by (too long) cables but just not with a pre-wired pedalboard. My goal is to tidy things up, decrease setup/tear down time and simplify transport.

Not meaning everything on battery power. Just the Play Acoustic to avoid an extra cable to the unit on the stand.

Yep! Hoping to test it out tonight and try it at Snowbird tomorrow. Bought some foam so I can fit it, a tuner, a mic, and my cables in one small hard case.

Hey cool Cats! This was more of a test than anything else...
Being a charter member I was still having a dreadful time trying to get pictures to load. I just downloaded the TAPATALK app and want to see the results.
The pedal board runs both acoustic and electric thru the A/B box.
If I’m solo or duo I run the Play Acoustic to the Yamaha MG10xuf to Bose S1 pros.

Signal chain:
MXR Bass Envelope Filter
Boss LS-2 with TS Mini in loop- to blend overdrive with clean sound
Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone- for solos
TC PlayAcoustic- Leslie-type modulation, delay (analog), 3dB clean boost
Ditto Mic Looper to mixer

Switch 6 is Velcro-ed to the front of the board

Is anyone using one of those new rechargeable pedalboards (tourtek, box king) with the included battery pack and inputs? Is it isolated power? Is it noisy with several boxes?

Used it tonight at Wildflower. It's fantastic. Sounds great (I had no idea that good pres could fix the slight honky piezo sound of the B-Band) and tons of headroom.

I've ordered some pick apart foam to make a little hard-side Harbor Freight case into something that can hold the A&H, a tuner, a mic, and all my cables. I'll probably pick up some kind of 8" speaker so I don't have to constantly break out The Proper Way's K8s out of their flight case.

Solo jobs just got a lot easier. I'm already at one trip with the cart, but now there's even less to haul. Now, to find a better speaker stand....

This is what I’ve been using for a while now. Pretty simple. Just pre-eq, looper and vocal harmony.

I built the board to fit into a road case. The upper section on the right houses the power supply and the upper left section holds my mic, capos, picks, batteries, etc.
