Default Guitar Center in Louisville, KY?

Does anyone have any info on when the new Guitar Center in Louisville,KY will open?
I cannot find anything online or on GC's site. I've emailed GC directly few times but never heard anything back. I've even drove past it the other day but they're still under construction with no any sings of opening dates.

If anyone has a link or more info, it would be appreciated.

Where is the store located? Maybe when it opens we could have a meeting for the local AGF members.

It's right next to where Circuit City used to be on Shelbyville Road Plaza.

I pulled into the lot, saw the line (about 400 feet long), and left.

I might check it out tomorrow.

Good chance I'll be in Louisville this spring. I bet I'll still rather go to Guitar Emporium...

I agree. Guitar Emporium still has the best acoustic selection in Louisville.

My only gripe with the GE is that every time I go there there's always some snob playing Hotel California out of tune at 120db.

But living in Raleigh, wouldn't you rather go to Harry's even more? I'm familiar with both places and I know both Jimmy and Harry. Both are nice stores, but there much more of a fraternity house feeling at Harry's. Someone always walks in and plays their butt off. It's like a free concert.

One benefit of GE is that a fraternity brother of mine owns the Doo Wop Shop across the street. I get to visit him when I go to GE.

The way I know both stores is that I'm originally from Louisville and visit friends and relatives there about once a year. As far as knowing Harry's, my daughter, her husband and my grandchildren live in Cary, NC, a suburb of Raleigh.
