Layering Electric Guitars on a Recording

Thanks for sharing! It's always fun and enlightening to see how the "big boys" work on songs like that. I'd love to be a fly on the wall for a week at a pro studio sometime.

I'm working on a much more pedestrian project currently. I'm recording my three piece hard rock band using my interface and Reaper in my music room downstairs. Just a little demo disc to give to the local clubs, and maybe sell a couple to our few fans.

fantastic detail. question: it sounds like you recorded the guitar parts in mono and then panned them. is that correct?
