Need help with tunner decision
Hey, I'm just finishing up this guitar. It is a commission but the purchaser has given me 100% artistic license with it, hence the question.
Which of these two tunners would you go with? Here's a picture if the guitar in full then two if the front and back of the headstock. I don't think I can go wrong with either if them but thought I'd ask for some help.

The chrome ones for me by far. The gold ones just doesn't seem to have the same impact.

Can we get a close up shot of that rosette? I usually prefer the silver family, but sometimes gold just works (it's gold for my upcoming!)

I'll post more pictures in a week or so of the finished product
I'm leaning towards the chrome as well but want some more input.

Not the gold ones....I'm trying to guess what the finish is on the other three, whether it's just chrome or if it's one of Gotoh's more exotic finishes. But whatever it's called, I like it better than the gold tuners on this particular instrument.

Is there anything behind door number 3? Those are nice tuners, and a beautiful headstock, but neither set of tuners (including the black buttons) seems congruous visually with the rest of the guitar.

Tuners
The chrome are nice.
Hard to really tell with all that high quality cupboard wood distracting the eye. dgd |

I think the Gotoh "Antique gold" would be a perfect choice. I don't really like the really shiney gold tuners. My .02

I don't see chrome, but the gunmetal ones look best to me!

The chrome / gunmetal ones look best to my eye, not the gold ones.

neither... or gunmetal if you insist. I would go with smaller handle thingies, or better yet some lightweight classical style tuners, rogers or whatever. Waverlies with snakewood would work also. Or mini Gotos with woods matching the headstock...
a classical shaped body, even with all the modern bling, really deserves antique styled tuners- ANY OTHER QUESTIONS?

What about some antiqued gold? Or open back?

I like the look of the gold on the front of the headstock, but the cosmos black on the back of the headstock. I'm thinking maybe antique gold would look great. But, given just the two options, if you are using silver fretwire, then the cosmos black would be best. If you're using gold EVO wire, then the gold tuners.

Thanks folks,
Ya, I'm limited right now to the 510's (which I love by the way) and all I have on hand are these two colors. Now, I'm thinking strongly of making BRW buttons to match the headstock, fretboard, bridge and bindings so that should help tie it all in together. My initial plan was for the cosmo black (gunmetal) with BRW buttons but as time is getting closer to delivery (2 weeks) I'm thinking I might not do the BRW buttons, although I do think they would really be the best idea. Thanks very much for all your help and feedback. And sorry for the really poor quality pictures. I posted this from my iPhone with iPhone pictures....inorder to get the quick replies as I was in the shop
