Default questions on this electric and its tone

so I'm new to electrics, and I've been looking around for a little while. this white whatever it is has caught my attention highly.

1)anyone know what brand/make this is?
2)is this considered a semi-hollow body?
3)the tone of this guitar is coming from?? pickups? amp?
can this sound be found in most semi-hollow body guitars?

this guitar is in a couple of other videos from Hillsong United, i'll post two of them.

Gretch White Falcon run through a huge pedal board into a switching system, back to a pod rig that allows for easier switching and into a Vox amp. There are a lot of tones coming from a lot of places. The Gibson acoustic, another electric, and the white one. Also, there is likely a synth pad running as well. With the right pedals, it's possible to get just about any guitar to sound the way you want it to.

Not sure if you're going for the tone, the look, or both, but that guitarist is worth checking out his rig: http://equipboard.com/pros/nigel-hendroff

That white guitar's sound is classic Gretsch tone with a compressor and it sounds like digital delay feeding reverb. Who knows what amp - could be a Supro or a Fender.

No it isn't. However the Electromatic version (G5420T), while not being given away has a street price in the mid $800s. Here's what a used one on Ebay went for. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Gretsch-...kAAOSw5cRZIc3m

Obviously not an exact dupe, just like my Epiphone premium ES-175 will only be mistaken for a "real" one by the uninformed. But I wouldn't trade it for anything... Okay maybe a "real" one

Guitar Center and Musician's Friend have a chambered basswood Electromatic Pro Jet for $699 that plays and sounds great and is very RED!!!

I've played two. Good action on both!

Well, if you're gonna be cheap about this, there's always a white ES-335
