Default Couple of pics of my stable

Hello all....my first post, although I admit to lurking on this forum for several months now. Thought I'd post a couple of pics of my guitars. Been playing since I was 14 (I'm now 63) but there was about a 30 year gap when work and family kept me from playing much at all. I played mostly electrics until just recently (about a year and a half ago) when I discovered acoustics. Now most all my electrics are gone! Anyway, I'm now retired and have hooked up with a small bluegrass group. We entertain the residents at an assisted living facility weekly and I go to a couple of jams a month. Been having a ball. To the pics:

Martin HD-28. My main go-to guitar. I love it's rich sound and it's loud!

PRS SE Angelus Custom. I bought this one for the times when it got a little too crowded on the stage. I thought this one would be my knock-around guitar but it's a tad too nice for that. It doesn't compare sound wise to the HD-28 but it's not bad in its own right. I had a Fishman pickup system intalled in it and it sounds good through the amp. I'm still going to have to look for a truck guitar.

Martin 000-15M. This one is my latest acquisition and it is SWEET! My first all mahagony guitar. Has a sound all its own and it's very comfortable to play. I do like the 000 body style.

All the setups on these guitars were done by Jim Hewett of Hewett Guitars. He does a fantastic job.

These pics aren't the greatest...I'm not much of a photographer.

Zeke,

I found a very high end PRS locally and played it and was majorly impressed. So I ordered the cheap-o through Sweetwater and had to wait a while before I received it. It's nicer than I had expected.

Welcome to AGF. Nice guitars and pics! I always enjoy seeing what other players have in their stable.

On a different thread, earlier today I mentioned I had no intention of buying a new acoustic (I have two) unless I came across a particularly inviting parlor style guitar. Now that I've seen your mahogany 000, I guess I should add one more 'possibility'.

I had to run out for for a while but thanks so much for the warm welcome. I've learned a lot lurking (I didn't even know what a "nut" was and was too embarrassed to ask)! I've gotten so much pleasure from these things...can't believe it took me so long to get back into playing music.

Had to run out for a while? Uh, we don't allow that. You might miss something!
