Default Denon DN-500R SD/USB recorder

I bought this unit for my home studio less than a year ago, used about three times, perfect condition. Specs available on the site below. This is a professional quality recorder with an amazing array of features. I have moved to entirely computer based recording so I no longer need it. Paid $429, selling for $250 including shipping to US locations via UPS Ground. All manuals, etc. included.

So with this unit, what does a person need to do in order to record directly onto an SD card? Are there several steps and if so what are they. Can you take us from step one through a finished recorded SD card ready to be played.

It's really not much more than sticking in an SD card (and mics of course! or a guitar with electronics), adjust recording level and press "record". If it is hooked up to an amplifying unit with monitors you can then listen to what you recorded. Same with a thumb drive. You can also use both if you desire. It automatically generates tracks; you can save or delete, your option. Or you can remove the SD card and plug that into your computer to do your editing via whichever program you prefer. It's easy to find a PDF of the owner's manual online that will explain all the features. Hope this helps. FWIW, the overall quality of recordings made with this is excellent, depending of course on the quality of the mics you're using and the set-up of your recording space.
