Jack Williams L-00
Hey friends,
I wanted to create a thread showing the guitar that is being built for me by Jack Williams. The guitar is an old Gibson L-00 size, 12-fret, slot peghead, cocobolo rosewood back and sides with an adirondack spruce top. It has maple binding, 3 on a plate gold waverly tuners with ebony knobs and a sunburst finish. I am outfitting it with an LR baggs lyric and have a mono case coming. Here are some pictures for you: |

Phew! that's a beauty, love the sunburst and the figuring in the back and sides looks fantastic. Being over here in the UK i have never heard of Jack Williams, i will check out his website. Good luck with the guitar.

Which pick guard or none?

If a pickguard ... I'd go with #2, because there's a fairly stripey aesthetic already going on with that lovely cocobolo. Personally, I'd go with a clear guard.
