Beautiful work, Don. It's probably just as well that I live on the wrong side of the pond and will probably never get to try one of your guitars -- GAS is hard enough to control as it is...

Playing a beautiful guitar - Don, great work. Tom features that guitar on his training video as well. Best, Phil

Tom has played that guitar as hard as a guitar can be played for over three decades. The redwood top has been picked clear thru underneath the strings all the way down to the braces. It also went thru a major repair/resurrection after it was significantly damaged a few years ago. It is satisfying to see it is still being played.

Don musser guitars are amazing
Don has been building guitars for a few decades, his attention to detail is second to none and the sound of his instruments are very toneful to say the least. I first saw some of Don's work when he built a guitar for Bono for U2 and for Bob Dylan. Back then people in the know here in Los Angeles knew about Don's guitars, and they still do. Don has made many improvements/advancements over the years .I recently had a chance to play an OM that he built that definitely was very responsive, articulate and packed with amazing sweet tone, it made me take notice of the instrument. I have been discussing with Don a guitar to build for me. I think this is one of those guitars built by a luthier that has been under the radar. I would strongly recommend that if you see one of Don’s guitars take the time to play one, I can guarantee you, you will not be disappointed. They have a very seductive tone and Don’s craftsmanship is impeccable, his new guitars he is building are one of the best out there in the hand-made boutique market. Job well done Don.

Hi Don - did that sunburst dread end up at Heart's Home Acoustics? I saw one of yours there a couple of months ago but didn't get a chance to play it, then when I went back it was gone. They did still have one of your OMs that was very, very nice - wonderful tone. Very tempting.
