ToneDexter 2 is on its way!
I noticed the Audiosprockets website is updated and that James now has a picture and feature list on the ToneDexter 2! It's not shipping quite yet, but soon, and I can't wait to get my hands on one!! Some great new features and well thought out design (any input from 9 to 15v, + or - , why doesn't everyone do that?!?). Just made a major adjustment to my Xmas list, hope Mrs. Claus notices -

I am very interested and hope that TD 2 offers enough value for me to upgrade. Being a gear fan, I'm sure it will.
Now we just need a TD Jr (a playback-only pedal). Edit - took a look at the new features: All parameters can be stored and fully recalled in 64 available presets, including all input and output levels <---- killer! Firmware upgrade and Preset management via USB <---- yes! Support for stereo and dual source pickups with switchable 9V mic bias on Ring <---- this is AWESOME!!! I may start using dual-source (SBT + mic) again Enhanced EQ controls adds parametric mid boost/cut and high-pass, along with low and high shelf/bell Stereo capable Effects Loop with separate Send and Receive jacks Aux in for playing along with stereo input sources Headphone output can also be used as a stereo line output

I am certainly looking forward to this device. I'll buy one for sure.

Looks interesting but nothing to justify replacement of TD1 just yet. I might have been persuaded by preset switching by pedal, either wired (jack) or Bluetooth page turner.
My current usage is with a Boss ge-7 in front to match different instruments for level and tone tweaking which would be nice to do away with but it's hardly shovelling coal. No complaints with TD1 but eager to hear opinions.

I don’t have a Tonedexter but with all the newly added stereo capabilities, version II will be impossible to resist.

I'd like to know if there was any change into the algorithm of the ToneDexter... and if there is, would it be working in the old versions as well?

I wonder why the enable to use Dual source and not to use the Mic input as a vocal mic.
I mean if Tonedexter could be a * IR pedal * a dual source blender * a mixer for vocal + guitar It would be great. If dual source is not a problem, why would a vocal mic input be one?

Cool updates. I don't think there's enough here to make me want to try this version over the one I already have, but it's nice to see that the TD is getting improvements. I do think switching to USB for firmeware updates was a great move.

That's a whole 'nother ball of wax. Technically I'm sure there are far more challenging things to do but Audiosprockets seems to be all about improving piezo results, seems like that has kept them plenty busy!

I saw this and I thought it looked like a real upgrade, but hard to justify a new one since the original is already so good. But I'll bet when the finished device hits the street, I'll probably sell this original and get the upgrade.

Although I think it's a great device, I hardly use my Tonedexter 1.

At my level of usage, the TD1 still has too much to offer, for me to justify an upgrade. I'm wondering how software upgrades will proceed once the TD2 hits the shelves. Are upgrades for the TD1 done?
