Gorgeous wood! I love the bridge and fingerboard.
Congrats on a stunner.

It's an extremely complex top and it appears beautifully carved to me. Front, back.. all of it.

As for the strap button being off center, I could measure if it mattered. But it doesn't.

Thanks to everyone for your comments good or bad. I understand that many do not like that it's a copy of a guitar a lot of folks consider to be an artistic work. Also, the design isn't going to have universal appeal. All valid points of view. Actually, I never regarded it as a daily player as I'm more drawn to plain jane Benedetto designs. This was just something cool and unusual. Thing is.. it really sounds good. That, and after I played a few blues tunes at an open mic tonight, I found people like seeing something out of the ordinary. Kind of fun. I think I will enjoy it.

Best Regards,

To the OP: It is a cool looking guitar, I am glad you are happy with it.

I do have an issue with Yunzhi having actual photos of an actual Monteleone on their website....just bad form, IMO.

Certainly agree with this. I don't think the Chinese business culture understands western views on this sort of thing. What I really hate is otherwise respectable guitar factories producing guitars with 'Gibson' and 'Fender' on the headstock.

...kinda like what they were doing in Kalamazoo and Fullerton during the '70s, but not quite as well...

Yep...wish everyone would heed this. If there is a genuine concern, one can always send the OP a PM.

Exactly what I was about to say - the photo is at an angle. And even if it weren't, who cares if it's not your guitar?
