Default Yamaha C 150

My "beater" guitar is a Yamaha CG 150 SA. I bought it new at least 20 years ago and keep it now a a back-up and to take along if traveling to music gatherings. I've had three Yamaha classicals, starting from my first in 1971, but the 150 is the best of the three, so that's the one I kept.

I like it fine, and it has good tone and playability, but my teacher wanted me to upgrade after a couple years of lessons, so I purchased a Francisco Navarro Garcia 2009 and then a Takamine EC 132 SC. (for its built-in electronic pick-up)

Don't know that my input will help you much, but I'm a player, not a luthier or collector.

I started on a Yamaha 15 years ago. They play well for the price. Good quality
