Default New Guitar, New Capo!

I'm going to spring for a new capo for my new Guild.

I need the quick change kind and have been using the G7 Nashville for steel string guitars, NOT classiscal.

Is there a quick change out there I don't know about anyone would recommend instead of the G7 Nashville?

I'm not familiar with the G7 Nashville, but you might want to give Thalia a look. It's quick enough that you can change in the middle of a song if you practice the move a bit.

Hey Jack. I love my Paige. Even pressure on all strings.

With a Paige, it's on your guitar, there's not much to "change".

This is the only one of that style that I have tried and it sticks out quite a bit in the back but you can adjust the tension on it.

My understanding of the Thalia is that once you have it on, you can slide it from fret position to fret position fairly easily and with practice can change keys in the middle of a song.

Good luck in finding a capo that meets your needs.

Best,
Jayne

G7th makes most if not all of their capos in a classical version. There are no parts on a G7th that you can change out so you would have to just buy one for a classical guitar. No parts to change out means no parts to loose.

Just buy one of these: https://www.g7th.com/performance-2-classical-silver and you will be good to go. No rediculous tension adjusting screw, just put it in position and squeeze to set it to tension. Usually, re-tuning is not required.
My original Performance steel string is the best capo I have ever bought.
