Default NGD - Rainsong Concert Hybrid Parlor

Officially a part of the club now. Just got this great little parlor guitar and loving it so far. Most impressed with the balance across the strings when playing fingerstyle, and also the overall volume when strumming with a pick.
For a parlor sized instrument it really projects. Can't wait until next summer to take it camping and to the cottage.

Rob;

Very nice score. I've enjoyed my Parlor, like the sound and think it well reflects Rainsong's quality.

Congrats! A fine looking guitar. RainSong came out with the Parlor about 12 minutes after I got a Shorty - I was surprised with how close in sound that smaller guitar is.

Enjoy!

In my experience, the Parlors sound about twice as big as they look. You'll have to give us a longer report once you've spend a long bit of time together. Enjoy!

I did look at the Shorty as well. My main guitar is a Taylor 322ce 12-fret and the Shorty is practically the CF version of that. However, car space is sometimes a bit of a premium when camping so I opted for the smaller parlor size and am convinced I made the right choice.

Will do. Maybe I'll take it on a snowshoe day-trip up into the mountains this winter and try and get some cool (literally) pics.

Yes, I have a 522ce 12-fret and can tell that resemblance. If the RS Parlor had been on my radar when I got the Shorty, I may well have gone that route.

Congrats again on your first carbon fiber guitar. The wink emoji is because many of us here discovered/appreciate the advantages and sound of CF and have added more.

Played one at Rainbow last month.

Good chance a CH-PA will be my next guitar (will have to order from Ted to get the no-cut electronics and hard case).

Unless I pick up a 000RS1, or custom order a Halcyon, or maybe an Emerald 12-string.

*sigh*

Congrats! These are a massive value, and I'm betting it won't be your last CF. All I have is a Shorty right now, but I could give my Christmas list if anyone is interested in fulfilling it
