Anyone Try Gruv Gear Gigblade?
Just seeing if anyone has one of these or checked them out yet. I think they just recently released one for acoustic guitars. I have a Mono M80 which is great, but the storage and transport on this one looks pretty cool.

Agreed. I like the way it doesn't sit up so high on your back for when you're walking through doorways.

Leather gig bag
How about an $825.00 gig bag? http://theawesomer.com/whipping-post...r-case/100899/

Should we tell him about Mono, Reunion Blues, Access, Bowoo, or the probably dozens of other high end (and expensive) gig bags out there?

My PRS electric gig bag cost me $175 when I got mine. I've since sold the guitar, but kept the bag...

No need ... some are actually worth $200. Others ... not so much.

Not trying to be argumentative - I genuinely would love to know. From what I saw on the site they look great, so much so that I am seriously considering ordering one. However if you have experience that says they aren't good please do share. -Mike

The two expensive gig bags I've been looking at are the Access 3 and the Blue Heron.
http://www.elderly.com/accessories/n...ag--AGHT33.htm http://www.blueheroncases.com/soft-c...ic-guitar-case My justification for paying $100-200 for a "gig bag" is two-fold. One, I'm picking a size that will fit most of my guitars. Two, the main reason I want one is so that I can bring it on overnight trips and lessen the weight of the hard case, and in situations in which I'm not concerned about potentially banging the guitar around, i.e. just me and the guitar in the back seat, no kids, dogs etc. |

I spent a few years lugging a 2 bass gig bag. Disliked ducking through doors and I'm only 5'6".
I have a semi-hollow guitar on order. I also have a "few" acoustics. I'm tempted to order one of these bags to try it out. |

I like the concept and would like to see this transitioned to hard case designers as well. It is the type of innovation that the case/bag industry has really been needing for some time. Very cool.

Gig bags aren't. Well made gig bags that make lugging gear easier would seem to be important to people who gig, right?
