I really love this guitar more every time I play it.

Well done Micah. Great tune and a nice guitar. Great performance!

Is that an Elliot capo you are using?

Thanks all! That's a Shubb Fine Tune capo. I do have Elliotts on two other guitars, though, and like them better

That was excellent Micah Well played, your voice lends itself perfectly to such a well written song. I'm a D18 player too and your '53 sounds sublime! Any mods to it and what strings you use on it?

Thank you for sharing your gift!

Well thanks very much! I really appreciate that!

No mods. It's actually all original and crack-free, which were big selling points for me. At some point someone shaved down the bridge (which is sort of a bummer but it plays really well after a set-up) and must have been a lefty because there is a strap button hole on the top of the heel. Other than that, no alterations that my luthier or I could find.

Oh and I use Medium Guage Martin SP Lifespan strings. I like those the best out of everything I've tried. John Pearce sound great but the Martins seem to last longer.
