Martin Resonator

Just curious - has anyone tried the Martin Alternative II Resonator? Any thoughts or opinions?

I tried one at GC, so, I don't know if that counts. Horirble set up, dead strings, etc., so, just plain awful. And, I must say, I just didn't think it had that funky vibe I look for in a Reso.
