Here's a "buy with confidence" bump.
Having purchased a guitar from him, I can assure you that you'll get more than you paid for! Good luck on the sale.

If I didn't have one of these already, I'd be all over this. And my D-12 is the best sounding guitar I own. I can't believe a guitar like this from a very reputable AGF'er is still here.

Could you please tell me the action height above the 12th fret of both E strings?
Thank you, Warren |

Great question...the setup on this guitar is perfect IMO. 2/32" at the little e string and 3/32" at the big one No buzzing at all and a good amount of saddle left.

Just wanted to chip in here.........
I used to have one of these, they are wonderful guitars. Beautiful tone, very comfortable to play and light as a feather. A lot of people seem to be afraid to try the 1-7/8" neck, and honestly, I had reservations about it too. My thoughts are that it really isn't that big of a deal to go from one to another. To me, it is kind of like driving cars. I can drive different cars with different steering wheel sizes, different sized pedals, bucket seats, bench seats, etc. and drive all of them pretty much equally well. There are some things that are easier to do on a wide neck and some things that are easier to do on a narrow neck. I don't play the same songs all the time or only stick to one style of music, so why stick with the same neck width? I can guarantee that in about ten minutes you will feel like you have been playing one all along. Going from one to another is not big deal either, your fretting hand is a reference for your picking/plucking hand. Currently I play a 1-13/16" Guild Orpheum, a 1.75" Bourgeois D150 and a 1.725" Gibson J-60. I love them all including my old 1-7/8" Santa Cruz D-12 Live a little!!! Buy this wonderful guitar!!! |
