I can't believe nobody has jumped on this guitar. I own one and have to correct you in that there were only 44 of these made not 50. I have owned over 30 acoustics over the years and this is the most amazing guitar I have ever owned. Nice deep bass response, sensitive and responsive, short scale length adds to the amazing playability and it is absolutely stunning. I paid very close to the amount being asked and I have never been sorry. Surely one of the best Taylor limited offerings. The density of the Macassar Ebony adds to the sound projection and volume and the cedar top makes it sensitive to even the lightest touch. It has opened up my playing in the dynamic range allows for whisper quiet to booming loud playing. Also the harmonics on this guitar are insane! Jump on this on, fellas.

Thanks jimidrake, I know just how good this guitar is and really would like to keep it, but I can't justify that at this point. I'm trying to get down to only one guitar (go ahead, laugh) which is an OM size. The large body is just too uncomfortable for me to play right now, and this one is a showpiece. Not something I would take out to play. I had heard they only made 44, but figured I'd cover my bases with 50. Thanks for the clarification.
