There is an original '56 or so with a solid rosewood neck, that was the only one Fender made... I think it was some Californian/Mexican player.

I once owned two Schecter guitars with solid rosewood necks. And one neck was serial 042... miss those necks...

I usually don't go for red guitars but that one with that scratch plate is just a stunning combo with the rosewood neck.

I have a 2006 Rosewood Tele .
I also have a 1 piece neck with walnut skunk stripe .
There should be no need to oil anything as this neck is most likely finished top to bottom .
My rosewood neck is as stable as anything I have ever seen .
When I was at The Music Zoo during the purchase process , I had the pleasure to see and hold a Rosewood Strat custom shop build . Sadly , I am left handed and it was mostly unplayable for me . It surely was beautiful though .
