Default I got recording gear for my birthday. Here's an original song

The last 3 months have been full of guitar/music purchases in my house. First I put a Baggs Lyric in my 00 which was a huge first step then for my birthday this week I got headphones, a mic stand and clip, and finally an interface. So here is an original song I started writing in a cemetery back in september in my head and finally finished it in December with the help of my band mates. This is is just me as I recorded alone last night after I put the kiddos to sleep. In a few weeks or days I'll add the rest of the guys to the track with some mournful mandolin and...I don't know if it will get more guitar or slide or bass...that's up to the guys. Hope you like it and please I am looking for constructive criticism...I can take it.

Recording is bonanzinga Clarksdale with LR Baggs Lyric and SM58 into a Behringer 202hd into MacBook air in garageband.

Good vocal work and pretty decent sounding recording. Keep playing.

Yea I like it. It's kind of maudlin but to me it has a hypnotic dark feel that I think is interesting. Recording is nice - vocal and guitar both direct and punchy.

Thank you all for the kind words. It’s nice being able to record my songs with something a lot nicer than an iPhone.
