Default Delete. I'll retry in a while

I'll try again... It's always a work in progress...

Now I got it. Thanks for fixing.

My opinion: I liked the guitar playing, the "instrumentality," the melody and most of the lyrics, but the song was at least 1 minute too long and parts excessively repetitious. But from your initial post you indicated you already know it's too long.

Singing; not a great voice, but I've heard a lot worse here on the forum and even (so called) pros. As I've always maintained, the human voice is THE most difficult musical instrument to master. In my opinion, most people can't sing worth a hoot.

An aside question, in no way intended to insult: Is that your normal speaking voice? My voice teacher told me that one should sing basically just like they talk except melodically, perhaps lilting might be the word. Yet I hear so many people who sing with a different voice, a different accent, a different tonality than they speak with. So often I hear performers talk one way, stereotypical Minnesotan for example, then sing with a little southern in their voice, a little country, a little western flair in their pronunciations and or vocal qualities. Just a question.

Okay, I fixed the link now and it directs to my web page rather than to Google Drive. It SHOULD work just fine now.

I sincerely appreciate the feedback on my voice and the song in general. Yes, it is definitely too long, but I'm not sure where I'd want to cut as I'm trying to tell a story. I could perhaps cut an instrumental portion or some chorus here or there.

As for my singing, yes that's close to my speaking voice. I realize my singing voice isn't great so I'm trying my best to work around it. I have gotten a little better as I understand more about keys and moving up and down the musical alphabet, but I have a lot to learn.

I'm pretty much convinced anyone can sing it just takes a lot of time for some to learn it in a proper way.

Humans are lazy as it gets..

OT: Everything has been said by Nailpicker Keep it up!
