Default Guitar refinish?

So I have a moderately priced mahogany bodied/spruce top guitar with an unknown clear finish that I'd like to make into one with a yellow/red sunburst finish on the top. Any ideas on how to go about that? Know any finish guys that would take on the job?
I like playing this particular guitar and use it where I fear my "good" guitar may suffer being damaged.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Best to learn to love it as it is. Refinishing is expensive, and for most instruments, it costs more than the instrument is worth.

It's not trivial work.
