Default "Watching TV" - Original - fingerstyle solo guitar

Hi,

yes, I composed this song, when I was ..."watching TV".
Very often I play guitar while looking TV... thatīs when I have time for it, after returning home from work. Normally, in the evening I am not able to do complicated things anymore, but letting the fingers run over the fretboard - thatīs ok. But sddenly there was this little theme... I tried to play around it and worked it out. The following evening, I found the second part in the middle....
And the title fits perfect for the little 4-note theme...

By the way: this is the very first recording I did with my new Zoom-Video-Recorder.... so the quality of the recording is not the best....

Hope you like it.....

Many greetings from Germany
Gerhard

Hi Gerhard, I really enjoyed listening to your original composition "Watching TV". It has a lovely melody line and your chord voicings and changes are wonderful. If you ever make tha TAB available, I will get it for sure. The only input I have is I am not a big fan of the 'headless video'. However I assume you recorded it that 'close' in order to get the audio sound you were looking for. Looking forward to hearing more of your music.

Hi Steve,
thank you for this compliment.... I havenīt tabbed it yet, cause tabbing is always very time consuming.... but I will tab it, when I find the time to do...
The "headless" video was the very first recording with the Zomm-Recorder - I didnīt know the angle of the lense.... but since my playing was ok and the sound was ok (no other mikrophone, no pc-editing) I decided to keep the recording....

Many greetings
Gerhard

Thanks for sharing. I always like to hear original fingerstyle pieces.

Hi Chad,
yes, the Zomm-Recorder is a funny thing... meanwhile I use a PC-screen for a monitor-picture to control if both hands and my head are visible..

Many greetings
Gerhard
