New speaker on the way
You all know I'm a Yamaha nut. I'm still rocking a pair of MSR400 12" powered speakers, which are great. I had owned 3 DXR10s. I needed some quick cash and sold them. I also own DBR10s. I have 2. They're great. A single one does fine with a small mixer at my summer campground ministry. Flying them over DXS12 mkii subs is a perfect combo for weddings and parties.
Yamaha speakers seem to be on sale at some of the large retailers so I'm giving a DBR12 a shot. This is to complement my DHR12M for monitoring and/or to take the place of using a single speaker at camp instead of the 10. Can't wait to hear them. They have more power and a larger hi frequency driver than the 10. Anxious to give it a go.

Nice. I took advantage of that same sale and ordered a DHR12M monitor. It will accompany a single DZR12 that I have been using as my main speaker. I'm looking forward to having a proper monitor.

The DHR12M is impressive! I cannot get over the clarity. And headroom. I tried it as a stand alone unit on the floor behind my wife and I. She was right next to it and usually always always feeds back. Zero feedback. It's a terrific monitor. I'm sure you'll love it. I hear they take 30 hours to break in. Mine still only has about 5 hours on it. I may have to blast some tunes through it.

So far so great! The DBR12 has a much fuller sound to my ears than the 10. Some reviews say the 10 is louder. I believe louder to be highly relative and subjective. I was critically listening for drops in the midrange which is something many loudspeakers suffer from. Nice balanced sound across the spectrum to my ears playing my MX49 keyboard on demo mode through it.
Vocals sound crisp with a Sennheiser e945 direct into the DBR. Can't wait to try it with a mixer.
