Yes. I bought a set of Donovan tunes and they are great. He has several free lessons on his site so you can check them out first. Excellently done, with step by step instruction and tablature. I like his approach because he focuses on songs, and classic songs from my era in the 60's/70's. I think Jerry is here on the forum as well.

I have bought a few and have always been pleased with the accuracy, teaching style and especially that you can buy a particular song for about $6. I just bought his lesson on Joni Mitchell's "The Circle Game" and it is very well done. I have also bought Jackson Browne's "These Days", James Taylor's "Fire and Rain" and Neil Young's "Long May You Run".

Whenever you get someone counting the timing as they play you know you got the real deal (a musician) to teach you a song.

Default another fan

I have a couple of his free lessons, but many more that I paid for. Well worth the price IMO.

I typically use them in this order:

1) Review the tab/songsheet
2) Watch the play thru
3) Start the lesson

I find this the easiest way for me to learn. I cannot recommend them enough. And with most being around $6, the value FAR EXCEEDS the cost.

Jerry's stuff is excellent and reasonably priced -- not to mention some good freebies (i think These Days is actually a freebie). He has a lot of content now ... to the point where a subscription model might be warranted.

Edit: These Days is free, along with a bunch more, which i think is extremely generous. Go here: https://www.jerrysguitarbar.com/guit...-solo-version/
