I'd say this is the numero uno reason to go for a dedicated recorder. I too own an iPhone and use it as a recording device, but I find Apples closed farm a right hassle when it comes to moving (any) files around. It's like they take 'ownership' in your files by closing the gates for use with third part software. I was hoping to use the iPhone more creativly, but it turned out to aggravate me with all it's roundabout ways to get to use my files.

If you keep it all Apple Eco system, I'm sure you can ignore this. [emoji12]
