Es-1 feedback/ringing
Hello,
Playing a 412ce through a fishman mini into a qsc k8. For some reason I have developed a ringing/feedback on certain notes (lowest C-D). It is not a stealing feedback, rather the note starts to ring and get louder if sustained. I've tried everything from a sound hole feedback buster, to a dbx gorack in the chain with the feedback suppressor on. New strings, new cables. Admittedly, the volume is higher when this happens. But it hasn't happened before. The guitar itself sounds harsher as well, it seems, but that is minimal. Any ideas? Can an es-1 system somehow become microphonic? I'll take any and all ideas, thanks

Did you try to turn of the body sensor(s)?
There is a switch to turn it off See at the end of this page: https://www.taylorguitars.com/taylorsensesetup/2 Could be a resonance from the top my 2 cents... Cuki

Yes, the whole guitar can act like a microphone when the volume is turned up high enough. A parametric eq would be ideal but a notch filter should work fine, maybe even a simple eq pedal would have the right frequency on it.
