this song was stuck in my head the other day, so it's good to hear. i always wondered what it is really about.

i dug the intro, that was cool, and also the stereo image. the instrumentation kept my interest, i liked all the different sounds you used. nice vocals and harmonies. very compelling version.

Lovely, you and Deb certainly set the bar high. I've taken a little vacation from Show n Tell. I'm glad I didn't miss this.

Excellent, Bob. I really enjoyed that. CSN did some great tunes and this is one of them. Very nice guitar work.

This one worried me, just a tough cover to pull off, a song so deep in the lexicon of great writing and preforming. You really did pull it off, very impressive!

Thank you, very much, Jay. We did this in our own style while trying to stay true to the original arrangement so, we were a little concerned that our rendition would not be acceptable to C,S & N fans. Your comment is very welcomed reassurance!!

Nicely done!

Although CSN&Y wrote it and are famous for it, your version is closer to the Jefferson Airplane cover of that song. JA interpretation is not better or worse, just different. Cool vibe to the Airplane song.

How did I miss this??

I love this song. Very impressive!

I was really taken aback when the chorus came in. It just filled the headphones with so much more sound than I anticipated. Well done! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, very much, Tahitijack! I think our rendition lies somewhere between the CS&N (Young was not in the first album) and the JA version. The original is very tight and well orchestrated while the JA rendition sounds more jam-band style with a loose improvised feel.

Thank you, kindly, UncleJoe! The chorus has layered harmonies and doubled voices to yield a bigger sound. I'm glad you noticed it and liked the effect.

Many folks don't know that Paul Kantner from the Airplane was a co-writer of this song. Interesting too if you listen to the original Paul Kantner and Grace Slick Jefferson Starship and David Crosby's "If I could Only Remember My Name" all the same people were on both albums. A giant musical orgy of it's time.
