Default Wooden Ships (cover)

We didn't get a chance to record anything this week, but we found this oldie in our archives that I don't think ever got posted here before. Here is our rendition of CS&N's Wooden Ships

Deb and I thank you for listening and welcome all comments!

Wow, Bob, that is so much better than my version! Great guitar work and vocals! Really nice lead playing. Our setlists are very similar.

Thanks, Warren. I think we are in the same age brackett so, our set lists are bound to over lap with many of those popular songs from our youth years (60s and 70s). I still enjoy those old songs more than most of the new stuff that is out there today.

Fine performance once again, and from one of my all time favorite albums. Wonderful guitar leads, and Deb hitting the high notes were very well done.

Thank you, very much, Dominick! It is one of our favorite albums, too! Their first two albums were simply outstanding.

Wow, that must have been difficult. Lots going on there. You both did a convincing job on that.

Bob and Deb, that music never grows old. I just listened to that entire album last month. It's still sounding fresh and yes, still relevant in many ways.

Thanks for that!

Very nice! When that first refrain came along I was blown away by those tight harmonies. Good stuff.

Thank you, very much, three4rd! That is very kind of you. Deb and I have been singing together for almost 50 years so we are thrilled when folks appreciate our vocals. When we were young and actively gigging through the 70s and 80s we were vocally much tighter than we are now, but it is still fun to try to sing parts together in our senior years! These days it's all about just loving music and enjoying the songs we grew up with! Thanks again for listening and commenting on our efforts!

Hi Bob,

Great guitar work on this tune and vocals are top notch. I have been away from AGF for a while but have missed all the great music here. Bud
