Default Acoustic song of the day (April 22)

Hayes Carll - KMAG YOYO
There have been a few threads recently on AGF regarding modern country music. It's seems the overwelming majority here do not care for it. I fall into the camp that doesn't care much more modern country, but outlaw country is one of my favorite genres. It's a genre I fuse into my own music and I think Hayes Carll is one of the best! I realize today's song won't work for everyone, but if you like what you hear and you've never heard of this guy get on Spotify or YouTube and check out some of his other work. He's a great songwriter and story teller though song

My wife turned me on to this guy a while back. Lots of good music, definitely not music row. Ray Wylie Hubbard thinks highly of him, that's high praise.

Great song. The guy on the right needs to polish his guitar and get a pickguard that fits.

OK, that is a marathon, trying to keep up with this guys lyrics. Very good, however. Really enjoyed it.

I would love to hear his response to that......

I love this "outlaw" style ever since I ran across Steve Earle.....and more recently Chris Knight.
