Default (Sold) Martin Custom Shop D-28 MC Dreadnought (Shipping now included)

Here is 2011 Martin Custom Shop D-28 MC that I believe was built in a run for one of the big box stores (MF I believe, which does have a demo video of this model at D28 MC Demo). Supposedly only 50 of this model where made.

Body and sides are Madagascar Rosewood, with a Cocobolo center wedge.
Top is Italian Alpine Spruce
Neck is Genuine Mohogany
Fretboard is Ebony
Flamed Koa Binding
1 11/16th neck width with 2 1/8th in spacing at the bridge
Neck shape is low oval.
Bracing is 5/16 Adirondack Spruce, Golden Era, scalloped.

I have the complete spec sheet for interested parties.

I've replaced the saddle and bridge pins with bone pieces acquired from Bob Colosi. I've also replace the tuner buttons with ebony buttons (original chrome buttons will ship with the guitar).

Comes with standard Martin 640 Case.

There are a couple of dings on the instrument that I have tried to depict in the last two photos. One in located on the binding in the upper bout on back of the guitar. The other is in the top binding of the neck around the 2nd fret.

This is a great sounding and playing guitar. The low oval neck combined with the 1 11/16th spacing cramps my fretting hand a bit, which is one of the reasons I'm selling.

Sold!

(My apologies for the reflections in some of the photos)

I've transacted here with Don before and he is very easy to deal with.

Nice guitar -- GLWS, partner.
