Hayes Carll and, of all folks, John Prine! JP has a lot of good stuff besides "Paradise" I bought a few of his CD's.

Smile

First Aid Kit, a couple of sisters from Sweden. Great vocals, and some really nice fingerpicking in a band setting.

Somebody called them "The Everly Sisters."

Charlie Parr.

I found him on Heartland (Internet) Radio.

Reminds me of the late 60's early 70's, even if he is too young to have been there.......

Chris Cornell

I already knew about him since Soundgarden broke out, and Temple Of The Dog (on my 10 only desert island disks), but I finally got around to picking up Storyteller on iTunes. We are both the same age, so I pretty much have followed him and Soundgarden, AIC, STP, Nirvana etc since day one, when I wasn't listening to blues music.

He really showcases himself here. His singing is well, he's Chris Cornell, but his guitar playing is tasteful in it's simplicity.

I've been playing this constantly in my car for the last month.

All I can say is all the YouTube conspiracy theorist (plural) out there who say he was murdered are wrong. Just stop. Please.

You dont write a song like Cleaning My Gun and expect to live to an old age.

I am saddened (and angry) that he felt he had take himself out, but I get it.

Langhorne Slim for us. John Prine for my wife. Both are simply fantastic live and will be performing together this year.
